WestCare Health System in Sylva, North Carolina, received its second Laureate Award for Workplace Excellence in November, 2007 for oustanding scores on the organization's 2007 Work Climate Survey. The first Laureate Award given to WestCare was in July, 2007 for 2006 survey results.

Over and above the level of scoring needed to qualify for the Excellence Award, WestCare made a concerted effort to maintain an exceptional work environment.
